Score methodMerit is computed from a NARROWER slice of CUET than most universities use: 'From this academic session, in addition to language (English/Hindi) and general aptitude test, ONLY ONE DOMAIN SUBJECT shall be considered for preparation of merit of the respective programme.' Hindi or English and the General Aptitude Test are compulsory for every UG programme, and each programme names the domain subjects it will accept. Candidates may sit up to five CUET subjects, but only those three count towards the merit score. Deprivation points up to a maximum of 12: Quartile 1 district 6 points and Quartile 2 district 4 points for UG (by 10th/12th district); all Kashmiri Migrants 5 points; female and transgender candidates eligible per the prospectus table. Not applicable to B.Tech. or M.Sc. JNU states no other deprivation points or weightage exists beyond Section VI of the e-Prospectus.
Last and final call for expression of willingness against vacant seats runs 26-28 Aug 2026; final list 03 Sep and deadline for admission/registration 15 Sep 2026.

Score methodAdmission to BHU's CUET-UG programmes runs through the Combined Allotment Programme (CAP-UG). BHU does not allot on the raw CUET score: it 'will utilize the CUET (UG) scores provided by NTA to calculate Program-Specific merit scores', and its admission FAQ states 'Merit is determined solely by the CUET-UG normalised score' with class 12 percentage carrying zero weight and used only to break ties. Because the score is computed per programme, a BHU number is not comparable with DU's, nor between BHU programmes. AMU's own materials list some programmes under both routes: B.A.(Hons.) and B.Sc.(Hons.) appear on its own admission-test schedule (12 April 2026) and on its ‘through CUET’ selection lists for the same session. Confirm with the university which route governs your course.

Its admission-test schedule (D.No. 4050/Adms, 24.01.2026) puts B.A.(Hons.) Arts/Social Sciences and B.Sc.(Hons.) Science/Life Sciences on AMU'S OWN test on 2026-04-12, with B.Com.(Hons.)/BBA on 2026-04-19 and B.A.LL.B. on 2026-04-26. Its results portal, headed 'Result of Admission Tests / Courses Through CUET', publishes a selection list for the same session titled 'B.A. (Hons.) - F/o Arts & F/o Social Sc. (through CUET)'. We could not resolve which route governs those overlapping programmes from AMU's site, so we are not picking one. What both sources agree on: 'Admissions in all the courses are done strictly as per merit on the basis of rules framed by the Academic Council for each course of study', and no candidate securing less than 20% in the Admission Test/Departmental Test is considered. Only 8 of JMI's 68 Bachelors programmes admit through CUET. The rest use JMI's own entrance test, conducted from 26 April 2026. For the CUET programmes JMI does publish category-wise cut-off scores.

Score methodFor its CUET programmes JMI admits on the CUET NORMALISED score - 'The admission will be given based on the CUET Normalized score, strictly as per merit based on the admission policy of JMI' - and publishes a CATEGORY-WISE CUT-OFF SCORE for each programme alongside the list of selected candidates. Its categories are its own: GENERAL, MUSLIM, MUSLIM OBC/ST, MUSLIM WOMEN and JAMIA INTERNAL.
